Bachelor of Science in Business
Culver-Stockton College offers a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business that may be well suited for students who wish to enhance their specialized knowledge in business and possibly gain relevant positions within the field. Students may learn in-depth knowledge on management, marketing, finance, and general business, among other topics. Individuals may be fully prepared to work in positions within various business and organizational environments. Students who enroll in this program may choose between two specializations: Organizational Management or Accounting and Finance.
The Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Program consists of 120 total credit hours. Students are required to finish a combination of general education courses, business courses, and elective coursework in order to successfully complete the program. Business core course topics that students will cover in this program include Principles of Accounting I & II, Elementary Statistics, and Management Information Systems, among others. Courses that are offered through this program are designed prepare graduates to be knowledgeable and competent while working in various positions within the business career field. Students who choose a specialization will be required to complete 12 additional credit hours in order to earn their degree.
Courses for this program are available online. This online learning environment provides flexibility for enrolled students who are employed or have other obligations. Students should be highly disciplined to complete a large amount of coursework. Time management, a reliable Internet connection, and word processing skills are very important for students who enroll in this degree program.
