Master of Science in Negotiation & Conflict Resolution / Organizational
Help your organization avoid pitfalls by learning to proactively prevent conflict in the workplace through strong team-building and communication and how to deal with conflict effectively through ADR strategies such as mediation and facilitation. You'll get to practice and apply what you've learned in a variety of ways, including a practicum that gives you the opportunity to further develop your skills in a professional setting. The Organizational Collaboration and Conflict Management concentration will also teach you how to apply organizational culture theory to resolve workplace conflict, increase employee productivity through collaboration, improve staff morale by easing tension in the workplace and build a company culture that enables people to work together to achieve a shared goal of success.
A baccalaureate or higher degree from an accredited institution and all corresponding transcripts, a minimum GPA of 3.0, an up-to-date Curriculum Vitae, written mission statement detailing long-term goals and the role the M.S. in NDR would play in that, a short writing sample, two letters of recommendation, and an interview with a member of Creighton's faculty.
Requires two five-day residency requirements and a practicum experience.
