Program Details

Enroll in this secondary education degree online and advance professional opportunities.  This program provides both a master’s degree and a teaching certificate for those who are interested in beginning a teaching career or who need to earn their teaching certificate.  Regardless, in as little as 14 months, this accelerated program prepares students for careers as skilled teachers in grades 6-12.  

Develop the ability to think and teach critically and creatively while learning how to:

  • Differentiate instruction
  • Facilitate student responsibility for behavior and classroom environment
  • Encourage student-led inquiry
  • Use assessment data to redesign teaching and learning opportunities

This online secondary education degree utilizes a teacher residency model, blending online coursework with real-world experience.  While synchronous online courses are required in the summer, asynchronous courses are used in the fall and spring semesters which open up your schedule further.
