Program Details
Begin a career that focuses on the care of others with these online healthcare degrees. Rooted in Jesuit values, this program offers a broad, interdisciplinary understanding of:
- Health
- Illness
- Suffering
- Care
Emphasizing critical reflection and the development of personal and professional discernment, courses examine larger questions about suffering, mortality, care, and justice.
All students complete an immersive two-week palliative medicine or hospice care experience, either on campus or near their own town. Learn to apply the perspective of medical humanities to your work as you gain first-hand knowledge of caring for patients with serious or terminal illnesses.
With roughly half of the credits earned through electives, students are able to customize the degree to meet their needs. Choose to complete either a thesis or non-thesis degree.
