Program Details

Creighton University offers a Post-Graduate Certificate in Family Nurse Practitioner program online for nurses with graduate degrees who want to advance their careers.  This program allows you to become certified to practice as a primary care provider for patients of all ages.  The curriculum provides a theoretical and practical base that students use to diagnose and manage health problems.  You will gain the knowledge and skills to handle acute episodic and chronic health problems in primary care settings.  In addition to courses that cover care for individuals and families, students also complete courses solely for the care of infants and children.  

Graduates are competent in these advanced nursing roles and are prepared to sit for the certification exam.
