Program Details

The online Diploma in Early Childhood Education in Pre-B-K program is designed for students who want to teach and work with young children, especially from PreB-K.  The curriculum develops knowledge and skills in early childhood education, including literacy and language, guidance, health, nutrition, safety, and creative ways to teach young children.  Students will also learn about teaching exceptional children and about collaborating with the families and communities of the children with whom they are working.  Two courses are taken that focus on infants, toddlers, and two-year-olds and how these young children develop.

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Official high school transcripts
  • Official college transcripts, if applicable
  • Placement test may be required
