Program Details

An online Master of Arts degree in Counseling is available to the working adult student through Cornerstone University.  This program is designed to offer a core in Bible and theology, a counseling core, and a counseling specialization core.  Specializations offered within this program include:

  • Addictions Counseling
  • Trauma Counseling
  • Multistate Licensure
  • Interdisciplinary Studies  

Students will join a cohort of peers throughout this program, with courses offered online as well as two short on-campus intensives.  Graduates with this advanced degree are prepared to pursue or advance current careers in human resources, private practice counseling, pastoral care, treatment centers, and more.  This Cornerstone University degree is an academic base for professional licensure, as well as a stepping stone toward a doctorate degree in counseling.

Requirements

  • Students must attend two 3-day intensives on campus.
