Program Details

The online Master of Education in Advanced Studies program allows educators to advance their careers by building upon their strengths and current teaching skills while broadening their areas of expertise.  The program offers course selection across three categories of study:  research, psychological and sociological foundations, and methodology and content.  Students will choose a concentration in:

  • Project-Based Learning
  • English
  • Social Studies
  • Literacy
  • Gifted Education


  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • Overall cumulative 2.75 GPA on a 4.0 scale (for full, non-provisional admission)
  • Official transcripts from all colleges attended
  • NTE/Praxis II scores
  • Copy of professional certification as an educator
  • A personal statement
  • Two letters of recommendation (at least one from an academic source)
