Program Details

The online Master of Science in Education with a specialization in Special Education program gives students everything they need to advance their careers in this field, so they are ready to make a difference in the educations of extraordinary children.  The curriculum teaches students to identify characteristics of children with disabilities, assess their individual needs, serve on an IEP team, and design intervention strategy.  Coursework teaches relevant teaching strategies to implement in classrooms and how to incorporate technologies that enhance instruction.  Students can also work towards Cross-Categorical or Early Childhood Licensures.
