Program Details

The online Master of Science in Education with a specialization in Early Childhood Education prepares individuals for the complexity and importance of a child’s life from birth through age eight, so they are equipped to provide students with what they need to grow, including empathy, attention, and guidance.  The curriculum immerses individuals in the theories of childhood development, provides strategies for early literacy, and makes them aware of family and community partnerships so they emerge inspired by the wealth of knowledge and practical experience provided.  Graduates are prepared to create developmentally appropriate curricula, administer meaningful assessments, and understand how to best encourage learning for each stage in life.
