Program Overview

The online Master of Science in Information Technology will develop advanced skills that gives students the ability to manage, maintain and apply information systems.  Students will gain a working knowledge of everything from mobile devices to supercomputers.

Students who complete this Master's program will be able to pursue various opportunities in the information technology field, such as, computer and information analyst, computer and information research scientist, information security analyst and several more.

    Requirements

    Minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.00 for full acceptance. A bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution. One page essay. Resume. Two recommendations. All official transcripts. Graduate entrance exams such as the GRE are not required.

    Concordia University Wisconsin is a Lutheran higher education community committed to helping students develop in mind, body, and spirit for service to Christ in the Church and the World. Lutherans in Wisconsin founded Concordia College in 1881. In 1886, Concordia received a perpetual charter from the State of Wisconsin which authorized it to provide "classical, technical, and religious instruction to young men and students who desire to prepare themselves for the ministry of the Lutheran Church." For approximately eight decades, Concordia offered high school and the first two years of a liberal arts college program. In 1978 Concordia was authorized by the Missouri Synod to become a 4-year accredited college providing education in teacher education, nursing, medical assistant, social work, and engineering.

    Concordia University Wisconsin provides a variety of educational opportunities for students who are preparing for vocations in the ministry of the church and for various professional and business careers in the community. The program of studies emphasizes a liberal arts curriculum and course offerings providing educational experiences that cultivate personal and vocational skills.
