Program Details

The online Master of Science in Education with a specialization in Education Administration provides the education, capacity, and personal network for emerging leaders to confidently handle the complexity of administrative life.  The curriculum develops students holistically as they also learn how to handle legal, financial, personnel, and academic matters.  Coursework covers curriculum design, human resources, student safety, budgeting, and professional development while preparing students to take on extra stress, criticism, and responsibility.

Classes may include:

  • School bus management strategy
  • Legal and ethical leadership in schools
  • Compensation and benefits

For students to be eligible for a Principal’s license or Director of Instruction license, they must hold a valid and current WI teaching license. Students can take advantage of many online resources, professional faculty, and networking opportunities within the online master’s degree program. Graduates will be qualified and prepared to work in a variety of school environments as professional education administrators.
