Program Details

Benefit your students and the world with an MEd in Curriculum & Instruction: Environmental Education from Concordia University–Portland. Lead the development of environmental literacy—how daily choices can help or harm the environment—in your school and community, and expand environmental education beyond the classroom. In one year and completely online, you'll learn how to successfully evaluate alternative views related to environmental issues. You can help your students enhance their critical thinking skills, boost their confidence and autonomy, increase their civic engagement, and become advocates for the future of our Earth.


  • Must have earned a bachelor’s degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution

  • Minimum cumulative undergraduate GPA of 2.8 or higher (Students may be conditionally accepted with a GPA below 2.8; however, you may be required to submit additional material.)
  • Added supplemental requirements, including but not necessarily limited to letters of recommendation (if applicable)
