Program Details

This fully online Doctorate of Education program from Concordia University-Portland develops transformational leaders inside and outside the education sector. The Professional Leadership, Inquiry, and Transformation EdD specialization is ideal for candidates from academic, governmental, community, nonprofit, religious, and other fields who want to further enhance their organizational management skills through high-level problem solving, decision-making, and collaborative skills. You will be able to select from a wide array of relevant, leadership-focused specialization courses—and earn your doctorate in about 3.5 years. Classes are 8 weights in length, and are limited to 15 to 17 candidates to support quality discussions. This EdD program includes a virtual residency, which is aimed at the practitioner-scholar who already balances a career, family, and other obligations.
