Program Details

The online EdD/PhD in Leadership with a concentration in Educational Leadership program prepares students to advocate for students in public and private schools through their leadership abilities, supporting students to become effective citizens in society.  The curriculum shapes competent leaders through theoretical and practical studies.  Graduates demonstrate instructional leadership, ethical supervision leadership, the ability to communicate effectively with parents and other community members, and effective, practical, and ethical management leadership skills.


  • Completion requires 61 credit hours for EdD or 67 credit hours PhD
  • Master’s degree with a minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Submission of rationale statement, including personal goals
  • Official transcripts of all previous credits
  • Current GRE or MAT scores
  • Letters of recommendation
  • Writing sample
