Program Details

The online Associate in Applied Science in Pharmacy Technician prepares students to interact with patients, manage inventory, prepare IVs, and identify drug products. Proper work habits and job appreciation develop during the program. Students must complete a National Background Check.

Courses include, but are not limited to:

  • Sterile compounding and aseptic technique
  • Mathematics for pharmacy technicians
  • Advanced pharmacology

This online degree program will prepare graduates to work in both hospital and community pharmacy settings. Upon completion of the program, students are required to take and pass the National Certification Exam before applying for the pharmacy technician license.
