Program Details
Through the Associate in Applied Science in Interpreter Training, students will study American Sign Language, ethics, interpreting, deaf culture, and more. This online degree provides the general education credits needed to transfer to a four-year college or university. Students will also learn the state and national laws that apply to deaf individuals and the interpreting profession.
Classes include, but are not limited to:
- Manually coded English systems
- Ethics and principles in educational interpreting
- Transliteration
