Program Details

The online Certificate in Early Childhood Teacher program is designed to prepare students to work with young children in environments that support a child’s individual physical, cognitive, and social-emotional development.  The program offers students an understanding of programs and curricula appropriate for young children.  Graduates will be prepared to work in numerous early childhood care and education settings as qualified early childhood teachers.  Courses include:
  • Introduction to Early Childhood Education
  • Introduction to Early Childhood Education Techniques
  • Guidance Strategies for young Children
  • ECE Nutrition, Health, and Safety
  • Curriculum Development: Methods and Techniques
