Founded in 1966 on the principle that quality education should be both affordable and accessible to all members of our community, CCAC offers more than 150 academic programs across six diverse program categories including
- arts and humanities
- education, social and behavioral sciences, and human services
- science, technology, engineering and math
Today, CCAC's quality programs have enabled students to transfer credits to 520 colleges and universities. The college supports regional workforce needs with accessible instruction available day, evening, weekend and online in Allegheny County and beyond with focus on entering or reentering the workforce in two years or less.
