Community Christian College was incorporated in June 1994 as a nonprofit corporation for the public benefit. It is governed by its own Board of Trustees, and, as such, is legally and financially independent of any church, denomination, or educational institution.
Community Christian College prepares students to be ready to transfer to senior colleges and universities to complete their Bachelor’s degrees. The College's Associate of Arts degree program in Liberal Arts has been designed to provide the general education most students need to graduate with a Bachelor's degree from most four-year colleges and universities. They offer a two-year program of courses which provides a foundational liberal arts education. Furthermore, the program is intended to satisfy all or nearly all of the lower-division general education requirements at most four-year colleges and universities.
