Program Details

The online Master of Arts in Teaching in Physics program is designed for those looking to change careers and who are interested in entering the teaching profession.  With this option, professionals earn teacher certification in Physics in grades 6-12.  Graduates will demonstrate continual growth and proficiency in planning inquiry-based instruction, demonstrate proficiency in using a wide range of instructional strategies and differentiating instruction to help all students learn, and be proficient in developing and using multiple forms of assessment and using this data to improve teaching and learning for all levels of learners.

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • 3.0 minimum GPA
  • Two letters of reference
