Program Details

Prepare for leadership positions in safety careers in the Petro-chemical and related fields with this online occupational health and safety degree with a concentration in Oil and Gas.  Taught by experts in the field, courses in this concentration focus on:

• Applying safety and health-related theory and technology
• Formulating solutions to control occupational hazards
• Analyzing workplaces to identify occupational hazards
• Examining strategies to control hazards found in the oil and gas industry
• Evaluating hazards present at oil and gas sites and facilities

The curriculum is a Qualified Academic Program (QAP), allowing graduates to apply for the Graduate Safety Practitioner® designation, a designation that eliminates the student’s need to sit for the Associate Safety Professional (ASP®) exam prior to taking the Certified Safety Professional (CSP®) exam.
