The department of History and Political Science offers four bachelor’s degree programs:
American Studies: This degree examines the American Experience from every angle, including courses in literature, history, political science, government, culture, communication and many other social sciences.
History: In this program, you’ll take courses in historical research and methods, world civilization, history of American business, women and gender studies, twentieth century Europe, modern Japan, World War II, imperial Russia and many others.
Political Science: This degree examines laws, elections, lobbies, foreign policy, the presidency and the Constitution.
Public Administration: The program is a multi-layered degree that covers a range of subject areas, including political science, economics, management, psychology, sociology, human services, public policy, foreign policy and financial resource management.
