Program Details

Colorado Technical University's Master of Science in Information Technology degree program with a Security Management specialization is designed to provide students with the opportunity to study how to set up secure infrastructure for an enterprise, and to help manage cloud and mobile computing. Protecting the assets and information of an organization’s vital enterprise computing infrastructure continues to be an area of large and growing concern. 

Graduates of this program may be able to seek any of the following types of positions:

  • Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst
  • Firmware Engineer
  • Software or Systems Engineer
  • Systems Analyst
  • Software Development Engineer


Baccalaureate degree (Computer Science or Information Technology) earned with a CGPA of 2.0 or higher. Transcripts. Interview. Possible entrance essay. Students without a CS or IT undergraduate degree must demonstrate at least two years of work experience in the field.
