The MSHCM Informatics concentration is designed to provide students with information systems, informatics, and information technology skills that will prepare students for careers in healthcare or related institutions. The program focuses on innovation driven by IT, data analytics, and improving service delivery and healthcare quality through IT solutions.
The courses will address:
- the use of technology to manage medical records
- enhance the quality of health record management systems
- ensure electronic records compliance to regulatory and ethical standards
This program will examine innovative approaches in computer science, information technology, decision science, organizational behavior, and knowledge management used to deliver and enhance care.
