Program Details

Colorado Technical University’s Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice-Homeland Security and Emergency Management (BSCJ-HEM) degree is designed to give students the opportunity to learn the foundational knowledge and skills for careers ranging from disaster preparedness to counterintelligence. More important than ever, these specialists are vital to our national security. 

This concentration builds on the core principles of CTU’s Criminal Justice curriculum to provide added applications relevant to homeland security and emergency management. Students engage in coursework in topics of technology, communications, intelligence, critical infrastructure, terrorism, and other knowledge in a wide range of government and private organizations. In addition, students develop communication, problem solving, and strategic planning skills.
