Program Details

The online Graduate Certificate in Power & Energy program prepares students to address important contemporary issues, helping them develop expertise that will be relevant to jobs in the power and energy sector.  The curriculum teaches concepts related to the modernization of the electricity grid, including the computer skills needed to model, simulate, and analyze options for integrating new technology.  Students learn to enhance energy systems, plan and implement alternative energy sources, design and manage energy networks, and support power and energy infrastructures.  Graduates will be able to make sense of electrical systems data that help them understand how to use electricity as a tradeable commodity.
