Colorado Northwestern Community College offers an online Associate of Arts degree that is designed to be a transfer degree. In this liberal arts degree program, students focus on general education courses and topics. They complete most of the courses that are taken in the first two years of a four-year degree, preparing them to transfer to a four-year college or university to complete a bachelor’s degree. The online liberal arts degree also allows students to explore various topics and courses before choosing an area to focus on when earning their baccalaureate degree at the four-year institution. The curriculum consists of general education courses and topics from the sciences, mathematics, English, humanities, and more, forming the solid base on which students are able to continue their educations.
