The online Associate of Arts in Early Childhood Teacher Education program is for students who intend to transfer to a four-year college or university in order to earn a bachelor’s degree in the field. This program provides the initial training and course credits for those who want to become involved in the care of young children from birth to age eight. Courses in theory and lab experience are combined to provide a comprehensive base of growth and development. Early intervention, high risk, gifted and developmentally delayed issues are included.
