Program Details

The Elementary Education Without Licensure degree is designed for adult students nationwide who wish to become early childhood teachers and obtain a Bachelor of Arts degree without licensure. Graduates may teach in a Kindergarten to sixth grade classroom in public charter schools, private schools, and international schools that do not require licensure. 

Graduates of this education program may later choose to pursue Colorado licensure through the CDE’s Alternative Licensing Program or through CCU’s Master of Arts in Special Education Licensure program.

The College of Education & Adult Studies (CAGS) does not offer Educator Licensure or Non-Licensure (Undergraduate or Graduate) courses to online students who reside in Arkansas, Hawaii, Idaho, Iowa, or Kentucky.
