When the College of DuPage opened in 1967, classes were held in office trailers and at leased suburban sites. Today DuPage sits on a 273-acre campus in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. The mission of College of DuPage is "to be a center for excellence in teaching, learning, and cultural experiences by providing accessible, affordable, and comprehensive education."
The College of DuPage offers a world of educational opportunities. Students can transfer to a four-year institution with an Associate Degree, earn a technical certificate, learn in-demand workplace skills, improve your English, or study for a GED. The College of DuPage Online offers more than 250 online courses throughout the academic year, which can be taken individually or used to complete one of 10 associate’s degree programs or one of almost 30 certificate programs.
