The online Associate of Arts in Social & Behavioral Sciences is a humanities degree program from Cochise County Community College District. These humanity courses are designed to prepare students for transfer to a university program in anthropology, history, political science, psychology, sociology, or related areas of study. You will learn to analyze and articulate the major topics in the social and behavioral sciences, including human biological origins, human evolution, cultural development, and more. Students will learn about the evolution of the United States’ political, economic, social, cultural, and geographic development; critically analyze political events, persons, processes, theories, and more; describe key concepts and theories in psychology; study sociological concepts including race, ethnicity, discrimination, and global interdependence; and more.
The program offers areas of emphasis in:

- High school transcript or GED certificate
- Not required if the applicant is 18 years of age or more
- Accuplacer placement test may be required
