Program Details

The online Associate of Applied Science in Health Services Management program from Clinton Community College prepares students for careers in the health services management field.  The goal of the program is to provide the knowledge and skills students need to gain positions in health care fields.  You will gain career-specific skills and expertise while building your academic credentials so that upon graduation you will be ready for entry-level employment opportunities or to continue your education in the health services management field.  Students learn to effectively communicate underlying principles, apply current issues to the health care industry, and apply core functional areas of business, including accounting, marketing, management, and human resources, in order to make sound business decisions.  Graduates are familiar with the five levels of health care delivery and major components of each.
