Program Details
Those interested in working in athletics at the intercollegiate level turn to Clemson’s Master of Science in Athletic Leadership. This online physical education and coaching master’s degree develops fundamental coaching skills such as policy, ethics, diversity, and leadership.
Through the program, students realize and grow their individualized coaching styles. Most graduates work with student-athletes in some capacity. Candidates come from backgrounds such as student affairs professionals or athletic administrators. Other professionals include athletic trainers and strength and conditioning coaches.
The online physical education and coaching coursework prepares administrators and coaches by building a foundation of leadership. Graduates gain an understanding of:
