Program Details
The online Literacy Teacher Certificate allows K-12 teachers to develop literacy specializations for applications in the classroom. Complete a foundational course, and learn more about literacy assessment tools. Round out studies with topics in instructional strategies and content area reading and writing.
On successful completion of this certificate, you can proceed to complete additional Literacy Coach and Literacy Specialist certificates. The school also offers a master’s degree in literacy.
This program meets the endorsement requirements for the state of South Carolina. Non-residents should check with their state’s licensing agency or request more information.
