Clarks Summit University offers a Bachelor of Arts degree as part of an Integrated Studies program for students who are interested in finishing their undergraduate degree without focusing their undergraduate education into a specific field of study. By studying Bible and theology, social studies, English and literature, science, ministry, general studies, and various electives, students will be prepared for graduate studies in liberal arts, ministry, or other programs which utilize their general studies. This degree also prepares students for work where generalized knowledge, understanding of academic reading and writing, and an ability to handle a workload will be recognized for its value.
The program consists of classroom courses which emphasize real-world education through examination of cases and education which will be applicable on the job. Those classes include old testament survey, new testament survey, principles of Bible study, building a biblical lifestyle, multiple levels of study in theology, seminar in theology, bible studies electives, introduction to humanities, general psychology, several history electives, introduction to academic writing, introduction to literature, literature survey, a literature elective, understanding science, a science elective, several ministry electives, several general studies electives, and students can choose several free electives to complete their education based on their personal interests.
Through completion of the program, students will have demonstrated the professionalism and skill necessary to earn the degree. The qualifications demonstrate that the student has been able to apply the principles they have learned in the program into their eventual development as a functional affective professional in their field. These qualifications include but are not limited to: the ability to demonstrate acquired skills and knowledge in general education areas that are the foundation to life skills and further education, to demonstrate basic knowledge in bible and ministry which will provide the basis for further study, to demonstrate a basic knowledge in several areas of liberal studies, and to develop a broad foundation for advanced studies, and to be prepared for graduate studies and further education in ministry, Bible studies, or other fields.

The original Clarks Summit University campus began as an undergraduate school in 1932 in Johnson City, NY. Growth demanded a new campus, and in 1968 the campus relocated to Clarks Summit, PA. The Seminary program began in the 1970s, followed by the introduction of graduate studies in 1989. The private, not-for-profit college awards degrees ranging from a one-year Bible certificate and Associate’s degrees to Master’s and Doctorate programs. Clarks Summit University supports a mission focused on the "excellence in biblical higher education for effectiveness in global Christian leadership."
While students have the opportunity to complete on-campus degrees, the institution also promotes the Online Bible College, along with the Online Graduate and Online Seminary schools offering distance education. Through the Online Bible College, students can pursue degrees in Bible and worldview studies. Through BBC Online Graduate Studies, students can complete master's degrees in fields such as education, counseling, and Bible. Other graduate degrees may be earned in hybrid formats.
