Clarks Summit University offers an Associate of Arts degree as part of an Integrated Studies program for students who are interested in learning about a wide variety of core subjects before they focus their degree into any one field. The program is intended to be a study of generalized topics of liberal arts, social studies, mathematics, science, and theology to develop students with a strong knowledge of core subjects and general educational subjects to create a well-rounded individual and professional.
The program consists of classroom courses which emphasize real-world education through examination of cases and education which will be applicable on the job. Those classes include introduction to old testament literature, introduction to new testament literature, principles of bible study, building a biblical lifestyle, a bible studies elective, introduction to the humanities, a history elective, introduction to academic writing, introduction to literature, literature survey elective, understanding science, science elective, ministry elective, and several free electives where students can choose their education based on their personal interests.
Through completion of the program, students will have demonstrated the professionalism and skill necessary to earn the degree. The qualifications demonstrate that the student has been able to apply the principles they have learned in the program into their eventual development as a functional affective professional in their field. These qualifications include but are not limited to: the ability to demonstrate acquired skills and knowledge in general education areas that are the foundation to life skills and further education, to demonstrate basic knowledge in bible and ministry which will provide the basis for further study, to demonstrate a basic knowledge in several areas of liberal studies, and to develop a broad foundation for advanced studies.

The original Clarks Summit University campus began as an undergraduate school in 1932 in Johnson City, NY. Growth demanded a new campus, and in 1968 the campus relocated to Clarks Summit, PA. The Seminary program began in the 1970s, followed by the introduction of graduate studies in 1989. The private, not-for-profit college awards degrees ranging from a one-year Bible certificate and Associate’s degrees to Master’s and Doctorate programs. Clarks Summit University supports a mission focused on the "excellence in biblical higher education for effectiveness in global Christian leadership."
While students have the opportunity to complete on-campus degrees, the institution also promotes the Online Bible College, along with the Online Graduate and Online Seminary schools offering distance education. Through the Online Bible College, students can pursue degrees in Bible and worldview studies. Through BBC Online Graduate Studies, students can complete master's degrees in fields such as education, counseling, and Bible. Other graduate degrees may be earned in hybrid formats.
