Program Details

The online Judicial Court Reporting Captioning/CART Career-Enhancement Certificate is a one-semester program that is available upon completion of the Judicial Court Reporting Program or proof of a degree in Court Reporting from an accredited college. This online certificate focuses on closed captioning and communication to access realtime translation captioning. Captioners are practitioners who provide communication to individuals with hearing loss. 

Courses include, but are not limited to: 

• Introduction to Captioning
• Captioning/CART Internship
• Introduction to Deaf Culture Community-Stark State
