The online AAB in Judicial Court Reporting degree program from Clark State College prepares students to provide a verbatim record of the proceedings of a courtroom, deposition, hearing, arbitration, or meeting and produce an accurate transcript of the proceedings using state-of-the-art technology. In addition to possessing excellent typing skills, graduates can:
- Write a real-time translation theory
- Translate shorthand notes
- Understand basic hardware care, maintenance, and setup of a real-time system
- Know laws and legal terminology, anatomy and/or medical terminology
