Program Details

Claflin University has designed a Master of Education in Curriculum & Instruction program that meets the needs of the 21st century by being entirely online. Some of the core courses teach how to work with diverse learners, educational research methods, and reading and writing literacy. With this specially crafted courseload, the individuals pursuing this program prepare themselves for numerous opportunities within the curriculum and instruction field, mastering instruction skills and effectiveness. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (official transcript(s) required)
  • Current resume
  • Professional licensure or relevant experience for non-licensed applications
  • Statement of purpose explaining your personal philosophy of education
  • Miller Analogies Test (MAT) or Graduate Record Examination scores (within the past 5 years) OR evidence of 3 years of successful full time K-12 teaching experience
  • Two letters of recommendation
