The online Graduate Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) program is designed to bridge theory and practice which prepares students for classroom teaching. The curriculum uses language acquisition theories, course development, and materials selection; practical classroom management; and application skills to provide knowledge. Graduates are able to apply this certificate toward Master of Education in Adult Education with TESOL Emphasis degrees, to enter the classroom to work with English language learners teaching English to adults overseas, or to take on administrative roles with English acquisition organizations.
