Program Details

The online Graduate Certificate in Early Childhood Program Administration is an accessible entry into graduate coursework in early childhood education that allows educators to decide if pursuing a Master of Education degree is right for them.  The program is designed for those with bachelor’s degrees in teaching, business, or a related field who desire knowledge in early childhood program administration or for those with an undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.  The curriculum provides a more in-depth skill set and knowledge related to program administration in an early childhood setting.  The project-based approach allows students to apply what they learn immediately to current workplace challenges and gain experience in addressing educational management issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Psychology or Business (Degrees in other fields combined with work or volunteer experiences in the field of early care and education will also be considered.)
