Program Overview

The Business Administration Associate in Arts Degree includes 60 units total, 21 units in the major and is designed to prepare students for transfer at the junior level to California State University programs and colleges offering Bachelor's degrees in Business, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or other related degrees.

Upon completion of this degree the student will be able to demonstrate a general understanding of business and apply critical thinking skills to technical and economic issues in a global business environment. Also, upon successful completion of the program, the student will be able to demonstrate a general understanding of the nature of business, apply critical thinking skills (analysis, synthesis, evaluation) to technical and economic issues in a business environment, and recognize skills necessary to function effectively in the global economy.

    First established in 1973, Cerro Coso Community College is a two-year, public school, and one of three higher educational institutions within the Kern Community College District.
