The Bachelor of Arts major in Law and Justice prepares students for careers in the criminal justice field. This program can also be a stepping stone to advanced law studies.
The curriculum brings in the humanistic emphasis of the liberal arts while also focusing on the practice of law. Courses cover subjects such as crime, community and social justice, legal research, and correctional counseling. Graduates go on to have careers in law enforcement, corrections, and paralegal professions.
