The online Master of Arts in Reading and Literacy K-12 program allows students to meet the standards approved for the Reading Specialist (BR) Endorsement. This professional development program will benefit both your career and the students you teach. The program is offered in a cohort format, allowing you to progress through the program with the same group of peers.

The curriculum enhances skills and knowledge of theoretical models, processes, and best practices regarding reading and writing. You will be able to organize and implement school literacy programs, diagnose and treat literacy difficulties, and implement appropriate reading and writing instruction. The program includes a clinical practicum to give you hands-on experience.
