Graduate Certificate in International Health
This online Graduate Certificate in International Health centers on creating a better understanding of international health issues and opportunities, cultural differences in health and wellness, comparative health systems, and cross-cultural communication. International travel is a key component of the curriculum. There are two mandatory travel courses and an optional third travel course as an elective. Courses include such topics as: Population Health; International Health Systems, Organization and Policy; Sociology of Health and Illness; and Global Perspectives in Health and Illness. This program has two audiences: Students currently enrolled in CMU’s online DHA program who may pursue this Graduate Certificate in International Health simultaneously with their DHA courses and non-DHA students interested in expanding their knowledge of international health issues as a standalone course of study.

Must hold a baccalaureate or equivalent degree from a regionally accredited institution with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.7 or, optionally, 3.0 in the final 60 semester hours of graded coursework toward the bachelor’s degree. If your undergraduate GPA is less than 2.7, conditional admission may be possible.
