Graduate Certificate in International Health

Program Details

The online Graduate Certificate in International Health centers on creating a better understanding of international health issues and opportunities, cultural differences in health and wellness, comparative health systems, and cross-cultural communication.  Courses include such topics as: Population Health; International Health Systems, Organization and Policy; Sociology of Health and Illness; and Global Perspectives in Health and Illness.


  • Requires from 15-18 credits for completion
  • Baccalaureate or equivalent degree from a regionally accredited institution with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.7 or, optionally, 3.0 in the final 60 semester hours of graded coursework (lower GPAs may qualify for conditional admission)
  • Official transcript(s) from previous institutions
