Program Details

Central Michigan University offers both an online Bachelor of Applied Arts and a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Development and Learning. These programs are designed to prepare you to meet work requirements for early childhood education and preschool teaching. 

The curriculum provides you with skills to work with children and families from diverse backgrounds and also creates a foundation in humanities, natural science, social science, and global studies. Graduates will be equipped to provide expert care in child care centers, preschools, Head Start, and Early Head Start programs.

Students must prove competency in written and oral English, mathematics, quantitative reasoning, and writing intensive.
