The Diploma in Information Technology & Systems is an online information technology degree program from Central Community College.  This diploma is designed to provide the basic knowledge and core skills needed to enter the information technology field.  You will gain an overview of information technology and systems, including the role it plays in organizations, fundamentals of hardware and software, and problem-solving for website and program development.  Courses examine operating systems, networking, and security along with virtualization and cloud computing.  Students also study the business, societal, and ethical use of computers.  Also, you will complete general education courses that provide skills in communication, critical thinking, and problem solving.
