Program Details

The online Associate of Applied Science in Health Information Technology program prepares health information technicians to master entry-level competencies defined by the American Health Information Management Association, which are nationally accepted standards of practitioner roles and functions.  The curriculum uses a mixture of general education, professional course work, and professional practice at local health care facilities to teach students the knowledge and skills needed to collect, analyze, and utilize health data essentials in the health care industry.
