Students completing the Health Information Management degree curriculum will be well-prepared to pursue leadership positions in a multitude of business fields within and beyond healthcare. The Health Information concentration introduces students to the essential understandings of computer information systems, database design and administration, project management, patient record security, telecommunication and working with network systems.
Healthcare Information is becoming an essential aspect of the medical industry, as the availability of electronic record keeping will replace previous paper documents in almost all establishments.
